Lathrop, Clovis, Houston, Wabasha, and Mountain House Chapter events!

Again we are ecstatic to announce the recent success of g4g! In less than a year, we have donated over 3.8K articles of clothing with estimated worth $38,000 to underprivileged families, and partnered with a whooping 5 other nonprofits and nonprofit chapters!

Our chapter in Lathrop, California held a drive in a Boba Shop in April and received around 1,250 articles of clothing. This equates to 40+ bags of clothing and is estimated to be around $13,500!

Our chapter in Clovis, California held a SILENT drive in the month of May. They explained it really well in their post, but this means no flyers and no social media; only word of mouth was used. In total, they collected 384 items, or 10 full bags. Retail value is $14,118, and the item distribution is outlined in their post @g4g.clovis to make sure to check it out! Our chapter in Houston, Texas hosted a drive in Sharetea Houston and received around 150+ items donated. This is estimated to be around $1,000 worth of donations!

Special shoutout to our Mountain House Chapter in California for the recent success and collaboration of their events! They hosted the Mahaprasad event-- their first event-- and a means of getting the word out about Garments4Goodness. This event was held at the Marathi Shala Mahaprasad and received a host of visitors! Check out their reel @g4g.mountainhouse to learn more about this incredible event! Mountainhouse also held an Easter Drive, in which they donated large amounts of food to those in need. In this event, g4g.mountainhouse collaborated with povertypatchup, servinghanz, mhhs_brms, mhhs.apisu, and welfare_for_sanjoaquin!

Our Wabasha chapter is currently in the middle of a drive, and our Bakersfield and Milpitas Chapter have also completed drives! A post will be out as soon as we get the numbers as to how many clothes were donated!
